맘마미아를 봤다. 딸 소피가 결혼하기전 아버지를 초대하기 위해 3명의 후보 아버지를 부르며 일어나는 헤프닝이다.  이 노래는 도나(메를스트립)가 예전에 떠났던 과거 연인에게 부르는 노래다.

Winner takes it all... 난 처음 이 노래가 승자의 노래인 줄 알았다. 승리자는 다 갖는 것이라는 오만한 노래로 이해했었다. 그러나 극 중에서는 절규의 노래다. 빼앗긴 연인을 회상하며 관조적으로 되뇌이며 부르는 노래다. 메릴스트립의 과거의 기억을 되살리며 아파하고 현실에서 떨쳐 내려는 그리고 강한 미련이 교차하는 그 표정 연기를 잊을 수가 없다. 이 영화의 압권이다.  하지만 그 아픔은 사랑으로 거듭나지만, 이 노래를 부르는 순간 장면과 느낌은 아주 강하게 다가왔다.

그리고 Winner 다 가지는 것은 아니라는 생각이 든다. 현실의 합리화로 들릴지 모르겠지만, Winner는 그 순간에 승리할 뿐이며, 자기의 실수를 알지 못한다. 승리에 도취하여 감추지고 잊혀진다.... 그러나 패자는 무엇이 문제였지를알고 되씹는다.

우리는 그것을 '승리자의 함정'이라 부른다.^^
